A Level 2 charger charges an electric vehicle much faster than a standard outlet. It requires a dedicated 240 V circuit.
Before installation, an electrician checks the capacity of your panel. If it isn’t sufficient, an upgrade may be required. The cost depends mainly on the distance between the panel and the charger, the type of charger chosen and the condition of your installation.
